VISA OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

You can find a list of countries the citizens of which can visit the Republic of Belarus without a visa on the website of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Belarus.

Foreign citizens of other countries need to obtain a visa of the Republic of Belarus to enter the country. A short-term visa (type C) is required for participation in the Summer School.

Since January 1st, 2017 consular fee rate amounts to 60€ for individual visa and 10€ for group visa per each person.

Privileged consular fee rates are valid for citizens of certain countries.

Please, pay attention to the following:

  • You will need visa support documents (application for receiving a visa from the hosting party – Yanka Kupala State University of Hrodna) to obtain your entrance visa;
  • There must be at least 2 blank pages for visas in your passport;
  • The validity period of your passport must exceed the date of the planned departure of the passport holder from the territory of the Republic of Belarus by at least 90 days.

TRANSPORT SERVICE

These are the nearest airports for those who decided to use air transport:

  • Minsk National Airport (distance between Minsk and Hrodna is 279 km; the border is crossed at the airport);
  • Warsaw Chopin Airport (distance between Warsaw and Hrodna is 275 km; the Belarussian-Polish border is crossed by rail or air transport);
  • Warsaw Modlin Airport (distance between Modlin and Warsaw is 35 km, distance between Warsaw and Hrodna is 275 km; the Belarussian-Polish border is crossed by rail or air transport);
  • Vilnius Airport (distance between Vilnius and Hrodna is 165 km; the Belarussian-Lithuanian border is crossed by rail or air transport).

For those who decided to use railroad transport:

  • Krakow – Warsaw – Hrodna train (daily, according to the schedule).

For those who decided to use road transport:

  • Minsk – Hrodna buses (daily, according to the schedule);
